Stress Awareness Month

Month of April

In celebration of April being National Stress Awareness Month, we are reaching out to Nevada’s teens and their families with ways to cope under the extraordinary stress of this extraordinary time.

The stress of loneliness, isolation, disconnection and uncertainly leads to increased anxiety, depression and other mental health issues. For the sake of our kids, we all must all work together to break the stigma – to begin talking about mental health – and adopt positive mental health practices. Each week in April will be dedicated to a certain type of self-care and will provide stress-busting practices to share with five of your friends and family. Such as, emotional, physical, spiritual and social self care.
