NMC Forms Nevada Health Commission!

The Nevada Medical Center is thrilled to announce the formation of NMC’s Nevada Health Commission (NHC).  The Nevada Health Commission is an independent body whose mission is to plan for health system needs, promote informed decision-making, increase accountability, and improve access in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.  The commission will provide timely and accurate information on availability, cost, and quality of services to policy makers, purchasers, providers, and the public.  The Commission’s vision for Nevada is to ensure that stakeholders are informed about healthcare services in Nevada and that access to affordable and appropriate healthcare services through programs that serve as models for the nation is a priority.
